Jo Ann Husslein
A Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and trained doing Career Counseling, working with domestic violence victims, and helping families who have children with behavior difficulties.
She has been certified by the Savannah Family Institute to use their Parenting With Love and Limits format. She is also trained in EMDR. Jo provides a safe, nurturing, and collaborative environment working with individuals, couples, and families.
Her approach is eclectic but primarily cognitive, strength-based, and solution-focused. Jo is aware that for many people a strength based approach would include an ability to share faith and is supportive of that if requested.
